Emerald Plumbing

Had them come out to install an outdoor shower. I had all the pipe assembled exactly how I wanted it done. Marc decided to change how I wanted it connected to the water supply running out from under the house. He used plastic pipe instead of the connector to convert to metal pipe outside the house. The plastic pipe is known to become brittle in direct sunlight. By not doing it how I had it assembled, it is now six inches higher. When confronted about it, he said well you have plastic running all outside your house. I told him that I am having to change all that out. Called to speak with Myrna about my dismay, she said she had talked to Marc and my wife. Said it was done correctly. Also she kept telling me to quit yelling at her. My voice was raised to express my frustrations. She said well you should have been onsite. Her response was we'll come back out, but it will be another service charge. I told her, had you done it as I had it assembled, you wouldn't be coming back out and I wouldn't pay another charge for their mistake. Kept saying we talked to my wife and she said do it as it is. Again, Marc took it upon himself to alter how I had it assembled. I am disputing the charge, as it wasn't done how I wanted it done. I will add the work was good, just installed wrong.

I can't say enough good things about Emerald Plumbing. They arrived on time, brought plenty of help, got right to work, were very conscientious, respectful, efficient and quick. Everyone had their tasks and they worked perfectly as a team. I had a complete re-piping done. They pulled the permit and had an inspector come out after the job. The next day the drywall people they sent came out and were exceptionally good as well. I am very pleased we chose Emerald Plumbing!

SCAM SCAM SCAM - Terrible customer service. Very bad workmanship. Will damage your home. Avoid this place at all costs. Simply tried to have a water heater installed. Worker showed up to the house 20 minutes before the scheduled service window and started charging me for his "wait time." He was also smoking cigarettes in my front yard and threw the buts in my driveway. Then he ripped the waterlines and drain line out of my washing machine and didn't reinstall. When installing the water heater he scrapped some of the paint off and made a large dent in the bottom of the water heater to the point that you can see the insulation. I had inspected the water heater before it was installed and there was no damage before install. He also installed the new water heater in a giant puddle of mud. Ive never seen such poor workmanship. Called the "manager" today. She told me that there is no way they are going to honor their workmanship warranty, refused to refund the installation price (nearly $300), and basically told me I was lying about everything. Very condescending old lady who thinks shes really intelligent. Save yourself the hassle and money and get a real professional to work on you home. Will be filing in small claims! Cheers
