Provide areas for entertaining and relaxing, 3. Provide areas for grandchildren to play, 4. Manage storm water and stabilize erosion 5. Provide sustainable planting areas that are functional and low maintenance. St Croix Valley Designed and installed 3 rain gardens to captor water from the roof (17000 gallons of rain water from roof and driveway in a 1' rain event"") and driveway. We designed a lake shore buffer area to prevent erosion along the lake as well as being beautiful. We also designed a patio area for them to sit and enjoy the landscape around them. The reluctant homeowners now enjoy their new converted sustainable landscape. They often give tours to their family and friends, enjoy the many butterflies and birds that visit and are very proud of their lake home. | Dresser, WI |
