People are mosiac of good and bad, good intensions and actual actions. NEVER EVER pay 50% up front for a job wt any contractor, and refrain from EVER hiring David Rosales under any and all of his various company names..DJ Contruction, Boss Construction, Etc.). Don't be fooled! While he has a friendly and warm way about him and is knowledgable about roofing/construction, he uses temporary laborers who don't know what they are doing, and uses your down payment to pay for materials at other jobs. In essence, it's a game of last man standing if your job is to completed, let alone correctly completed! He will create sense of urgency to get your down payment by saying he needs an answer NOW in order to begin your job "next week" with your down payment. He took me for $8,650, but my theatening to expose him via a local media contact I have, I recovered $6,000 of it after about 20 attempts! I ate $2,650 in damages after never seeing a penny of the balance. WARNING: Porch.com does NOT vet the services they list. I thought they did....Live and learn!

Since he was banned from doing business in KS, yet clearly still is doing so.... If anyone else who has been had would like to join me in taking him to court (again), I'll be checking this review section every so often. Let's get in touch!

Add me to the list of people he's ripped off. He left my yard looking like a trash heap. He left paint splatter all over my brand new patio. He didn't finish the job and always had a crazy excuse as to why he wouldn't be working that day. DO NOT HIRE HIM. And Porch has been aware of these complaints and still worked with him, they're the problem too.

Major scam artist, David Rosales and his so called brother-in-law. Ripped me off for $13,300 in cash, stole approximately $300 of my personal property and destroyed the projects to give the impression they were working everything. Destroyed my property to the tune of around $4,000. He has roughly 7 LLC which probably aren't legit, and can't even solicit jobs in Kansas as he pleaded guilty in 2017 to defrauding 4 people out of nearly $67,000 and was ordered to pay restitution. Good luck every seeing a dime from this guy. He belongs in prison, and we can only hope his day is coming.
