Hello! My name is Richard Workman. I'm the owner of Workman Home Solutions. I began developing my craft as a teenager working alongside my father in his Central Florida carpentry business. Together, we did a lot of kitchen remodeling and early on I learned to be a master woodworker and cabinet maker from my dad. As a young adult, I moved to Maryland where I worked on and met the many challenges that renovating 200 year old homes entails. While there, I also honed my skills in furniture building and design. I became meticulous in my work and became known for my relentless attention to detail. I then moved on to Portland, Oregon which allowed me to widen my skill set with a wider variety of home improvement jobs and commercial services. This is where I earned my reputation as a great problem solver. In recent years, I have spent time in Texas, Georgia and North Florida working on countless residential and commercial projects which have ranged from building homes from the ground up to designing, building and installing commercial and retail spaces. Throughout this time, I have developed and maintained a personal standard for honesty, integrity and most of all, for always providing top quality work to my clients. I take great satisfaction in knowing that my work is not only beautiful but built to last. In 2010, with what has now grown to be over 25+ years of experience in all aspects of carpentry, home renovation, installations, improvements and repairs, I happily returned home to Central Florida and started Workman Home Solutions.
