Alamo Residence | Mar 2014 | To achieve a durable and long-lasting paint job, the first step is preparation, and the second step is using a quality coating. Because different surfaces require different preparations and coatings, it is important to choose the correct materials. For this particular project the Siding/Wood paint product was Super Paint Low Sheen from Sherwin Williams. | Alamo, CA
Las Quebradas Interior Re-paint | Feb 2014 | Interior paint job that involves painting the living room and kitchen walls, refinish the bathroom cabinet so as chalk, putty and paint the new wood trim (inside & out). Pioneer Building Renovation | Sep 2013 | This 3 story, 40 foot tall, office complex in San Francisco, posed some interesting problems. While it is always difficult to work on a structure positioned directly at the edge of a busy sidewalk, this building also required scaffolding, and foot traffic redirection. In addition, we had to perform lead renovation to some areas of the exterior. To perform this work we had to first coat the exterior with a lead treatment & encapsulating primer. Then we could proceed with wet scraping of all loose and peeling paint. Then incapsulate affected areas, and clean all surfaces of the structure, and sealed working and entrapment zone, with Hepa-Vac equipment, and dispose of removed materials properly. This was an exceedingly tedious, and time consuming endeavor. But, protecting our team, and the public, while working safely, is our first priority. Re painting this building was a terrific opportunity for our team to show off their skills! We took a historical building from bad shape, to brand new! Thanks to our friends, and professionals, at Peacock Construction! | San Francisco, CA

Stain Cabinet in Walnut Creek, Ca | Jan 2010 | Staining wooden furniture isn't just a matter of applying a coat of a stain, preparing the wood takes both time and elbow grease, but it's vital to the success of your job. The finish is only as good as the preparation for it, most of the times you end up spending more time on this step than you did on fo the others stages but your results will be worth the effort. For this beautiful buffet we use couple coats of "Varathane" Wood Stain in blue and clear. We seal it with a high quality "Man O'War" spar varnish semigloss finish.
