Craftsman Master Bathroom

Jan 2017

This craftsman master bathroom was part of a master suite addition that we completed in Arlington Heights. This project was designed by a local architect at Kivland Architects. Together, the homeowners and the architect chose us to build the project. The entire master suite can be viewed on our Houzz project titled, "Arlington Heights Craftsman Master Suite Addition".

Craftsman Master Suite

Jan 2017

This project was designed by a local architect and the homeowners chose us to build it. This craftsman style master suite addition gives the homeowners a comfortable space to call their own. The small details in this project make a big difference. Some of these details include: the custom made stain glass window, the tray ceiling, the panel of craftsman style windows and the custom made bookcase that matches the furniture in the room. Each one of these helps to give the space the personality the owners were hoping it would portray.

Unique French Country Inspired Kitchen

Nov 2016

The homeowners of this project had a kitchen original to their home and it simply was not functional enough. They wanted to have an open kitchen with an island to sit at for casual conversation or breakfast in the morning. They also wanted to portray a French Country and New Orleans inspiration in the design selections for their kitchen. Everything on their wish list was completed. The new kitchen features a hammered copper sink, a multi surface countertop, including a Mahogany portion and a quartz portion, a vintage pantry door, a copper range hood, and eclectic concrete backsplash and vintage styled pendant lights. The design selections and the distressed cabinets give the kitchen a unique spin on a black and white kitchen.

Italian Inspired Kitchen and Addition

Oct 2016

This project began as a smaller, dark kitchen with not enough prep and storage space. The homeowners wanted something completely new. They chose to add an addition to the back of their home to assist in enlarging their kitchen, while also creating a defined dining space. The addition was built with high vaulted ceilings and walls of windows. This brightened the space to help allow some focus onto the new kitchen. The kitchen features a large island, equipped with a breakfast bar, sink, spice rack drawer and integrated paper towel holder. The spacious perimeter of the kitchen features a custom made range hood, a wall mounted pot filler, pots and pan drawers, microwave drawer and a beverage station. The homeowners no longer have to worry about a space feeling cramped. The new addition and kitchen are spacious and allow for entertainment with friends and family.

Arlington Heights White Transitional Kitchen

Sep 2016

This kitchen was outdated and it did not give the homeowners, and their growing family, the space that they needed. They wanted a kitchen that was brighter, more functional, and had a timeless feel to it. With their ideas, and the help of our design team, we had their ideas come to life. The family now has a great island to gather around and a nice kitchen table at the end of the room. This kitchen has become the heart of this home!

Door County Inspired Bathroom

Jun 2016

These homeowners use this bathroom as a hall bathroom and a master bathroom. They were looking to create a clean and airy space that felt up to date. As life long lovers of Door County Wisconsin, they wanted to incorporate their love for nature into their bathroom. Each selection they made in the bathroom represented an element of nature for the homeowners. They also chose to put a skylight in to allow for natural light due to the lack of traditional windows in the space. The skylight is also great for the plants they now have in the bathroom! They are thrilled with their nature inspired space! We wanted to ensure that this bathroom would serve the homeowners for years to come, so we installed grab bars throughout the shower to help them enter and exit the space safely. We loved working on such a unique and meaningful project for them.
