***BEWARE-BERT TALLAKSEN DESTROYED OUR FLOORS, TOOK MONEY AND RAN.** We hired Bert on August to rip out existing floors and replace with $26,000 worth of beautiful hardwood we purchased from the Floor Club in Jacksonville. Bert ripped out both our upstairs and downstairs so we had minimal access to the home while his crew was working. After two weeks his crew finished the first floor and wet mopped their way out. They asked for $8000 for that portion and were planning to return on Monday to finish the upstairs. Within 30 minutes we knew something was wrong, As the floor dried, it revealed smeared glue across the entire surface of our brand new floors. We immediately contacted Bert who stated he saw his guys weren't wiping it properly the week before but said nothing to us. He attempted to blame the product but the manufacturer made a two hour trip out to my home to confront Bert and his claims. The new boards in the box were perfect so Bert confessed that It was his crew. He stated he hadn't worked with this glue before (well known and widely used Maepi!) and didn't know what to do. He took ownership and said he was going to "make it right. Bert NEVER returned to our home. He left us with damaged and bare stairs, a ripped up second floor hallway, and 1400 square feet of destroyed brand new wood. We hired in a buffer, its didn't work. We hired in TWO certified independent flooring inspectors who BOTH deemed the wood irreparable. One inspector stated he'd ever seen a floor as bad as ours over his 30 year career. We have boot prints, finger prints, rag smears, traffic prints, swirls, you name it- all across our home, Not only that but his crew tracked glue onto our quartz counter tops and fireplace, brand new doors, white walls and baseboards, they damaged walls with holes and hand prints and dirt; they broke pavers outside and essentially left us with a VERY EXPENSIVE MESS!!!! We are DEVASTATED. Bert reached out and texted us an apology stating he felt terrible and wished he could do something to help but..NO WORD FROM BERT. We hired an attorney who has since filed damages with Bert's insurance company which ALSO seems a scam (check reviews for CLEAR BLUE ins) since they also dont return emails or calls. All in all we have accrued damages close to $50,000 due to Bert's negligence!!! PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THESE GREAT REVIEWS!!! We believed them and are still living out of our bedroom 2.5 months later and have NO money to fix what he's done, as it all has to now go to legal fees. PLEASE PLEASE CHOOSE ANYONE ELSE. Bert also operates as a DBA under an ACTUAL licensed contractor (BERT IS NOT!!) and has several businesses, NOT just this one . He is located in Palm Coast, FL but traveled an hour to do our job.

Tally's tiled my bathroom and laundry room. The guys did an awesome job. They were friendly and professional. They removed all debris and cleaned up afterwards. GREAT JOB!

Tally's Quality Flooring is the best company we have retained to perform repair services in Palm Coast, Fla. After water damage, Bert, the owner provided a very reasonable estimate. The work which required whole house new flooring, cleaning up mold, and patching under flooring was done professionally, on time and looks great. From sending us photographs each day as the work progressed to contacting us to make sure certain designs and color matched our floor choice, Bert and his crew did an amazing job. He does everything possible to make sure the customer is satisfied with his work. He actually cares for you and wants you to be happy with the finished product. I would recommend this company without reservation, he is the best. Bill
