the opened the wrong wall told me the leak was from the shower but it was from the AC drain line in the opposite wall they refused to pay for the damage done to the WRONG WALL and didn't fix the leak either! save your money and the headaches go anywhere else!!!!!

Can I give no stars? I would if I could. Called our home warranty company, First American Home Warranty, on an issue and Intercity plumbing is who they assigned. BTW, we have since written and elevated through managerial levels the importance of releasing, banning, and protecting themselves from potential lawsuits as a result of referring this company into people's homes. We live in a gated, 55 and over community with Main gates and for occasional visitor entry, or a merchant entering on our behalf, we the owners arrange authorize thru security gate personnel, and are responsible for visitors that enter. Some merchants and service companies pay a fee, after receiving clearance, receiving transponders and are then able to come in through additional gates other than the main gate as an owner would...such as gardeners. When Desiree called she stated that we would need to let her in the side gate, and her explaination was that they have 6 trucks and the $50 monthly fee was too much for their company to pay. She then let us know they had ways of entering the community and threatened legal action if we didn't let them (Wait , what? I don't think so ! At this time, several things come to mind, yet the most basic is if others believe that OR fall prey to their threat- is so sad...) We said no, can't/not allowed and liable and could be fined. We said will have to call Hm Warranty and make other arrangements. in. We did just that - and told HW we have issue not only with a company suggesting illegal acitvity to a resident but being threatened by them! We then called security gate - who let us know that the Company is actually "Banned" from entering our community and referred us to head of security. We were told it was due to the threating way they have repeatedly treated people. Hence here we are letting you know. the HW let us know they didn't have anyone else approved for our area but they worked to find one and did in a short time! They were professional and prepared. Thank you First Am HW for your help in an unexpected and uncomfortable situation!

Not sure why this co. would be classified as plumbers. My home warranty sent them out to repair a water softener. It took 3 amateurs over several days with 2 trips to decide if I owned a softener. The 1st 2 amateurs said it was a reverse osmosis system but wrote on the receipt that it was a water softener. The next amateur called it a water treatment device. The warranty covers a softener but no such item as a water treatment device. Phone calls to the co. are being avoided by the owner.Avoid this company.
