Foyer

Apr 2015

I painted the Foyer walls with 2 coats, and the ceiling with 1 coat. I used Sherwin Williams paints, and it took 2 days to complete. The challenging part was setting up and dissembling the scaffolding. Otherwise, everything was pretty straight forward. No painters tape necessary.

Office Renovation

Mar 2015

The customer had a room that in the front of the house that was a toy room for the kids that became outdated as the kids got older. The husband wanted to take it over as his home office. The walls were a very dark red that we painted a grey and added crown molding. We also built a beautiful bookcase and installed on the far wall and painted it white to make it pop in the room. In this house we also painted a accent wall in the living room and painted the daughter's room.

Painted House to put on house market

Feb 2015

A couple contacted me about painting there house so that they could put it on the market. We had a lot of patching and filling in holes in the house to do in the kitchen and family room which was located on the first floor . I painted there entire first floor and the hallway leading upstairs. They picked a neutral color to put on the walls. The first floor ceiling needed painted as well and I painted all the trim. We also had to patch up a spot in the kitchen that was letting air in from the outside that the builders did not seal correctly.

1940's House with a New Look

Dec 2014

The entire house was painted by us, except for the foyer walls/trim and the basement. The total rooms were 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, 2nd Floor Hallway, Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, and 6 Closets. All of the rooms The Kitchen had the most work done. We covered the plaster tile look with Wainscoating and new Chair Rail. The Rest of the Trim and Doors all went from a light blue to a white. The Cabinets also had a fresh coat of white put on them. The remodel of the kitchen also included removing a fold-up ironing board, and smoothing out the space it occupied. We also replaced both laundry shoot doors with ones that we hand-made. (There was one in the Bathroom, and the other in the Kitchen.) There were also a number of other small things we took care of such as: Caulking and all Trim edges, and adding wood filler to some of the window sills. Total Cost of all the materials came to $1,825.

So much patchwork with a great finish

Sep 2014

We started by replacing two full sheets of drywall in the living room ceiling. We spackled the ceiling, and also 2 walls in the bathroom. We also patched up many nail holes, gaps between trim and the wall, and cracks that had been previously filled with foam. We painted the living room, hallway, bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. We painted the trim in all of those rooms, and the ceiling in three of the rooms. This job had a lot of patchwork before we could paint anything. We spent 4 days of prep work, and 3 days of painting the house.

A Foyer and Hallways New Look

Aug 2014

My customer wanted a fresh look to their first and second floor hallways, and their stairway. I used Valspar's Reserve, Satin. The color wasn't a huge difference, but enough to make an impact on the areas. It only took 10 hrs for me to do it, since, as always, I didn't use painter's blue tape for my edges. I do everything with a freehand.
