Air-Right HTG & A/C

I used Scott Prather with Air Right Heating and A/C on my home for the simple job of turning off the swamp cooler. He arrived on time, and showed me how to turn off the system by myself in the future if I choose to do so. His rate was reasonable. After this I decided to have Scott bid on a furnace job in a rental property of mine This was one of those jobs where if it could go wrong it did. He remained calm and professional even though the circumstances were not favorable.At the end of this project he gave me a bill as if the delays and reorders did not happen. Very stand up guy.

Scott came to us because our furnace died and he was dispatched by our home warranty company. As it turned out our home warranty was almost useless but Scott worked with them and managed to get us over $100 toward our new furnace which he installed. Scott was professional in his dealings with us and the home warranty company and a all around nice guy!

Scott came to my home to remove an old furnace and install a new one. His professionalism was evident immediately from his handshake right through to signing the final bill. I ask a lot of questions and I expect a lot of a service provider. I expect timeliness, enhanced communication throughout the project, education in terms I can get my thoughts around, options for various ways of going at the same task, etc. Scott was prompt, made additional phone calls to me when necessary, he even called from the parts shop to explain options and gain my permission as to which items to purchase and he was genuine, forthcoming and thorough in his estimates of time and money. I told Scott my basement isn't getting the heat the rest of the house gets and he took the time to explain the duct work as well as what would need to happen to resolve this issue in a way that made a lot of sense however, due to the expense of the furnace, I was unable to cluster the two projects but if I hire anyone to do this work, it will be Scott. As a side note, a personal observation, rather than professional, we started to talk about shooting pool and I told Scott I would like to do more of this with my two kids. Scott is really good at pool which could be impressive on its own, however I was really impressed with how he spoke about teaching his son. It was obvious he holds his son in very high regard.
