Wrought Iron & Wood Gate Replacement

Dec 2016

Replace old metal & wood gate with a New custom built Wrought Iron & Wood Slat Gate with keyless entry. The materials I used were square tubing in sizes of 2"in. , 1 1/2in. , 3/4in. I layout and fabricated this 4' x 6' Wrought Iron Gate. I installed 5.5"in. x 6'ft. wood slats , welded the lock box into the framing for the keyless entry lock, All the metal was sanded and painted gloss black. Before the installation could take place the masonry pillar's had to be removed. Un be known to me they were filled with concrete, 3/4in. rebar, also had 2 3/8in. galvanized post with 1/2in. rebar inside from the bottom of the footing to the top of the columns. Took 2 days to remove the 24" x 18" x 18" footing's with a chipping hammer without breaking any of ABS pipe or the 1" grey electrical conduit.
