Toby and David never finished the work we hired/paid them for, then ignored all forms of communication. A year later, the tile work they had completed is cracking. Hope this helps other avoid the Pitfall. Plenty of other honest, local contractors to choose from, who finish the job and stand behind the quality of their work.

Do NOT hire Fairweather or Artistic Pools by Fairweather! Do NOT make the same mistake I made. After meeting with David, we hired Artistic Pools by Fairweather in March of 2021 to replace the pool tile, replace the pool light and replaster our gunite pool. David said that there would be no problem with opening the pool by Memorial Day. The demo and retiling did occur relatively quickly, but workers generally appeared on weekends with little to no warning. Before plastering, scratch bond coat was applied, but unfortunately, they applied quite of bit of it ONTO OUR POOL DECK as well. And then, silence for weeks. David did not return texts and his voicemail was full. When we did finally get David to return a call, it didn't take too long to realize that he was very good at lying. The light was always "on the truck" and the "crew would be here next week." Finally, in June 2021, our pool was still empty with no date given by David or Toby Fairweather for the plastering. Besides being incredibly frustrating, we had a major hazard in our backyard with a 9+ foot drop into the deep end. We ended up paying another company to finish the job - less than 5 hrs of work. Did Toby Fairweather and David do the right thing and give back the portion of the payment we had paid toward the plastering? Absolutely NOT. This company has serious problems with communication and unfair business practices. Use them at your own risk!!
