  | Townhouse Renovation | Sep 2013 | After moving to center city from the suburbs, the owners of this split-level 3 story home wanted to modernize and rethink their entire house. This inspired the restructuring of the stair into a central design element which in turn progressed into a complete interior renovation. The solution included a central atrium/skylight that brought light throughout the previously dark house while providing a more energy efficient and comfortable house. | Philadelphia, PA | |
  | Craftsman Inspired New Construction | Sep 2013 | The owner and the architect team agreed early on to establish a set of guidelines for the project: The house was to be super efficient, oriented to take advantage of solar gain and heated and cooled using a ground source system. With the exception of the mechanical and electrical systems, close to 85% of the materials used were manufactured from within a 100 mile radius including the stone from a nearby quarry. | Sewickley, PA |
