**Reference: CP Concrete and Sons - Failure to Return the $2,300 Deposit as Agreed** On July 25th, 2024, we received a quote from CP Concrete for $4,300 to furnish and install concrete in the basement family room floor at 2308 N. 50th Street, Philadelphia, PA. The agreement specified that CP Concrete would prep the basement dirt area on Friday, August 2nd, during the day and pour the slab, completing the job by noon on Saturday, August 3rd. However, CP Concrete unilaterally changed the agreed-upon schedule, proposing to prep the dirt area late into the evening on Friday and begin pouring the slab late Saturday afternoon, with completion extending into the late evening. Due to this sudden schedule change, we were concerned about potential disturbances in the neighborhood. As a result, Chad (of CP Concrete) and I mutually agreed to cancel the contract and proceed with the next lowest bidder for the work. It was also agreed that Chad would return our $2,300 deposit without issue. Unfortunately, as of today's date, August 18th, 2024, CP Concrete has failed to return the deposit despite multiple promises over the past two weeks. Chad has repeatedly lied about returning the money during our phone conversations, often not answering our calls and letting them go to voicemail. When he does respond, he either claims the deposit has been returned but is unsure of its whereabouts or insists he is in the process of returning it. His continued dishonesty and broken promises reflect poorly on his business ethics and values, which we find to be highly dishonorable. We hope this review helps others when considering CP Concrete. We are giving Chad one final opportunity to return the deposit before we post this review on the Better Business Bureau and his website.

I have an older gas fireplace and the thermopile no longer worked. I ordered a new thermopile but couldn't find anyone willing to install it. CP and his Dad called immediately and came out that day. I liked them at once and we agreed on a price to install the thermopile. CP actually went and got the tools he needed and installed the piece that day! It worked beautifully. CP and his Dad were very nice. They worked hard and did a great job at a fair price.
