Phoenix 50 gallon water heater installation

Jun 2018

Here is a clean installation of a 50 gallon gas water heater. Plumbed correctly with a sediment trap aka "drip leg" on the gas line. The sediment trap is necessary to collect any heavy particles in the gas prior to it entering the water heating system.

Water Heater Repair

Jan 2016

Water Heaters Only, Inc Phoenix completed a water heater repair for a 6 year old 40 gallon water heater that was not producing any hot water. Upon arrival our technician diagnosed unit to have a failed pilot assembly, as the pilot would not hold a flame and the unit was unable to heat the water. He was able to open up the burner chamber, removed the failed pilot assembly, install the new pilot assembly, ensure the burner chamber was clear of any debris and looked in good working condition. Our technician then resealed the burner chamber and light the pilot light. Once the pilot light was on, he set the temperature and watched to see the burner turn on. After the water heater has been heating up for a bit, he turned the temperature down to the lowest setting, the burner turned off as it should have, he then set the temperature at the recommended 120F degrees. The home owner checked the hot water in the house and they had nice hot flowing water again.

Phoenix Water Heater Installation

Jan 2016

Water Heaters Only, Inc Phoenix replace a 40 gallon leaking water heater at a single family residence with a new water heater of the same size. Our complete installation included installing earthquake strapping and bracing per the state earthquake requirements, install a new water shut off valve and hot and cold water lines. Securing the vent. Re-piping the gas line with a new flex line, a drip leg or sediment trap and a shut off valve. Install a drip pan with a drain line. Insulate the hot and cold water lines. Run the temperature/ pressure overflow pipe to an approved location and insulate the valve and piping. Finally we removed the old water heater and hauled it away for disposal. Our technician then lights the pilot on the water heater and makes sure the burner turns on the heat the water. While the water heater is heating up he will clean up the area around the water heater and pack up his tools. Finally out technician will go over all the aspects of the new water heater with the homeowner including how the unit operates, how our warranty works, why the WHO sticker on the water heater is so important and how long it will take for the unit the fully heat. A permit was obtained via the city and the inspection passed.
