Dr. Do it all Home Repair

If I could give out minus stars for this company, I would. Where do i start with how unprofessional they are? First, they demolished my existing fence without having materials for the new fence and gate. Then, Robert said the gate motor was on backorder for two months, and he was trying to expedite the shipping of a different model. Why would they demo something without having replacement material in hand? Also, Robert insisted that because he'd have the new fence up in a day, I did not need to have orange netting around my pool, which he then claims he did not know about despite the fact that he had visited the property and examined the existing fence. He either lied or did not pay attention to the patently obvious, probably the latter. Paying attention to detail is not his forte. For days, no one would show up. There were excuses. A truck needed repair. A dog had to go to the vet. And so on. Ten days into the project, I had no fence and no gate, although he did manage to set some fence poles, out of alignment, of course. I had to have them replaced. With regard to the fence poles, he failed to contact Texas811 to have the lines from the utility companies mapped out. Hey, it's free. There was one orange marker remaining from a previous project showing where the cables ran just inside the property line, leading from the big green metal boxes which warn of digging in that area. So, he dug in that area anyway, killing the fiber optic cable for my landline, TV, and Internet service and almost killing himself. He was an inch away from cutting through the 220 line. All that is just plain stupidity at its finest and the Darwin Award was just an inch away from having a new recipient. Plus, I found cigarette butts all around my driveway area that I had to pick up and throw away. All I have to show from the upfront money I gave him is a demolished fence, orange netting, five naked fence poles that I had to have reset, and a big pile of debris. He has not removed the debris. I asked him to itemize his labor and return to me the balance of my upfront money. I also asked him to cover the cost of having that fiber optic cable replaced. But I won't see a penny of it. I consider that upfront money lost, plus the cost to repair the damage he did to my utilities. He knows he has taken me for a large sum of money, and even though he claims to be a Christian, he’s not going to return. He’s pocketed he entire sum. In other words, he ripped me off. I warn anyone considering using this company that not only do they fail to pay attention to details and their surroundings, they can put your property at risk and have a long list of excuses for their failures.

Robert and co. were great. They will be the first on my list to call the next time I need help with the house.

The service was wonderful. They communicated very quickly and were on time. They also bent over backwards to assist me. My project was very difficult. They were professional and friendly. I felt very comfortable having them in my home. I will hire them again and suggest others do also.
