IICRC certified. I guarantee all my work. I use the Rotovac Power Wand, which takes 50% longer to clean but does a superior job cleaning the entire fiber of the carpet. The process is also known as deep restorative carpet cleaning. No one cleans better.

He charged $150 for 2 small rooms. His business card says “insist on rotovac”. He came and didn’t use a rotovac. And he only sprayed something and then quickly vacuumed it up. Like 20 minutes of work. I asked him if he used the rotovac. He said no. I then insisted on rotovac, and then he got rude and wouldn’t do it. He seriously left our carpet looking uncleaned. Not even kidding.

He did the carpet when I was gone. I came back to find it looking the exact same. I told him I wasn’t satisfied. He came back like a week later to look at it. I showed him an example spot and he sprayed it with a bottle and wiped it with a rag and the smudge came up. Came up pretty easy. You’d think if he did anything at all with a professional cleaning machine that it wouldn’t get out performed by a spray bottle and a rag within a minute of trying. What a joke. Asked him to clean the carpets again, and this time do it right. He refused. Asked for a refund and then he Called me ignorant. Maybe he just had a bad day. But I gave him a chance to fix it and he didn’t want to make it up. I was surprised at how dishonest his interaction with me was.

I thought I would get better service than this because he had some good reviews. My guess is that they are his friends or family or something. I can’t say anything good about his service. I paid him $150 to clean 2 rooms. I have doubts that he did anything at all. I wasn’t home at the time he did the work. I was supposed to be getting a pet treatment, but when he was done, the carpet didn’t look any different. There was still cat hair sitting on top of the carpet. Not stuck down in the fibers or anything. I told him I wasn’t satisfied and he came back. I showed him the cat hair and he told me that It can be easily vacuumed up. Right Rich, I believe you that it can be easily vacuumed up, the question is, why is it still here after you supposedly vacuumed my carpets with your professional machine? No integrity and no pride in his work. Definitely not OCD.

If I could give less than one star I would. I got Rich's business card from a family member. On his business card his tagline is- "Insist on Rotovac!" So naturally I assumed that is what he would clean my carpets with. This is what he advertises that he cleans with. He came to my home, checked out my carpets- I showed him where the trouble spots were. He said he had a pet treatment that he would spray that he lets sit for an hour to make the pet urine liquid again so it would come out of the carpets, then he would come back to clean the carpet. 45 minutes later he came back, and at this time I had to leave for an appointment. He said he would have it all done in 15 minutes, which I thought was odd but did not have enough guts to ask at that time why it was such a quick cleaning process. When I returned home I was wildly disappointed in the carpet's level of cleanliness. It looked no different. It still had wads of cat hair in the carpet! This is after I pre-vaccumed before getting my carpets cleaned. I thought a professional cleaner (who bragged to me for a solid 5 minutes at my home all about his 5 star reviews and how he was disenchanted with them because he gets so many of them-NO JOKE) would be able to get the difficult cat hair out. So, I texted him and told him I was dissatisfied with the service he provided. I asked him what type of cleaning machine he used. He told me he used a Pro Glide Wand, not a Rotovac. He stated a Rotovac is not recommended for my type of carpet. Did he tell this to me when he checked out my carpet before he cleaned it and took my money? NO! Had he told me he wouldn't clean with a Rotovac I would have been able to ask him what else he would have used and we could have discussed our options. Instead he was sneaky and never informed me about my carpet not being suitable for Rotovac. I hired him for the purpose of using a Rotovac. So I asked him to either please come redo my carpet or I would request a refund. He said ok and we set up a date. The next day he said his machine was broken. I said ok please let me know if it is fixed in a week or I need to hire someone else. Radio silence for a week. So I text him asking for an update and he makes another date to come redo- also asking that Rotovac be used which he agreed with over text. The date comes and he shows up. I show him the cat hair that is sitting on top of the carpet (not embedded deep into the fibers) and stains and overall dinginess of the carpet. He said that the carpet looked great and that a vacuum will get up the cat hair. I said I assumed a professional cleaner would have gotten up the cat hair during a cleaning process. If his Pro Glide Wand couldn't get some cat hair off the top of my carpet, then how can I expect it cleaned anything? What did I pay him for? After googling it, I found out a Pro Glide Wand is just a vacuum! So, if it can't suck up some cat hair off the top of a carpet, then I can assume it probably did not clean anything. I showed him a stain which he dabbed at with some cleaner and a rag, then said the rest of the stain was in the carpet pad. Why did he not clean this during the cleaning I paid him for? I asked him if he was going to re-clean my carpets and he said no. I then asked for my refund and these are the literal words that came out of his mouth- "I said you could request a refund, I never said I would give it to you." I was shocked. I politely asked him to please either refund my money or clean my carpets again, and he then stated- "You are so ignorant. I am the professional here. Go ahead and sue me if you want your $150 back. Go ahead and take me to court if you want. I'm not giving you your money back or re-cleaning your carpets. Goodbye." Then he walked out of my home, slamming the door on the way out. He called me ignorant in my own home! This was my horrific experience with this man. I don't recommend him to anyone. From my experience with him he is arrogant, rude, and dishonest. Take from my true experience what you will, but I will never recommend this man Rich to clean anyone's carpets.
