About The Yardsmith
I have been in landscape design for about 15 years, specializing in residential but have experience in commercial landscaping as well. If you are looking for a specific type of garden design, themed, drought tolerant, edible or shade, I can provide you with a great design! I will provide the drawings, plant list and a list of any amendments or preparation you may need for a reasonable fee. I do not design structures - this includes retaining walls over 2 feet, garden sheds, gazebos, and the like. She gave me great ideas but also the information behind planting in a specific way to yield more as well as how to increase the quality of my produce. What I appreciated was that much of the information she gave me will also work on the rest of my yard. The cost of having her consult on my garden was well worth the information I received. Her enthusiasm and knowledge made the process simple and easy to understand and incorporate into my garden.

Mary was prompt, creative and friendly. She did her consultation for free which was a nice perk and her attitude made the entire project very smooth, I couldn't be happier with the end result. She made my yard gorgeous and even when it isn't the season for flowers there will still be lots of greenery to fill in the yard and continue to make it beautiful.
