Mister Sparky Electric

Never contacted me. I've tried calling a dozen times with no answer.

We contacted Mr Sparky to do some electrical work for us at the very end of January, 2018. The job was completed quickly and efficiently by the workmen. The problem arose with Mr Sparky's inefficient office staff and the permit and inspection process. After almost 8 months, we still have not received either an inspection or the permit. We have been in touch with Mr Sparky numerous times to pursue this matter. For the first six months, we left messages and never received a response. More insultingly, when we were able to speak with someone and make an appointment, no one ever showed up and no one ever called! After speaking to the Palm Beach County Building Inspector, we learned that the permit had been applied for, had been issued and was simply not picked up!! This permit is set to expire at the beginning of November, 2018. Given the shabby and shoddy work habits of the office staff, if nothing happens before then, the entire permit process will have to be re-started and who knows when it will ever end? We spent approximately $10,000 and have no permit to show for it should we decide to sell our home. This has been an unconscionable travesty!
