CAMPO BROTHERS DEVELOPMENT INC

Campo Brothers is a terrible builder to work with. I almost never write negative reviews but my recent experience with them has compelled me to do so. I purchased a home from them with the promise that it would be completed within 14 months (which is quite a long amount of time for a new build). I followed up almost every month with them since I wasn’t hearing any updates from their end. They kept responding that the completion date remained unchanged. Now, 5 months before the house is supposed to be complete, I reached out again and they told me that they haven’t even started building yet. They have now pushed back the completion date by another 6 months. My life circumstances changed under the assumption that the home was going to be ready on time, but they completely misrepresented when the home would be completed. They probably wouldn’t have even notified me unless I asked. Despite their negligence, they are planning to keep the entire 10% deposit I put in on the home, even though nothing has been built yet. This is an absurd business practice that will lose them customers in the long term. They refuse to speak to my agent and have cut off all communication. If you’re considering purchasing a Campo Brothers home, hopefully this review will show you their true colors once they’ve taken your money and given you false promises.
