Hunt & Son Fencing

We hired Hunt and Son Fencing to install a fence around one of our properties. They were very nice people but are really not experienced in installing fencing. At least they weren't when they put up our fence. They used cedar which in only a few months we had to call them back because the fence was coming apart. They used nails instead of screws and in many places missed the wood behind it that it should have gone into. They came back when we called and went around the fence and fixed that. They also had to come back because the top of the entire fence was not even. They came back another time and fixed that as well. The hardware on all 4 of the gates were either not meeting or were falling apart. He came back and fixed them. As soon as the weather changed 2 gates in the front no longer worked and the latches had fallen off. I have called them several times and they will no longer answer my phone calls. The fence is cracking all over due to weather changes. They used very poor cedar in my opinion. I wished I would have never called them in the first place to do the work. Since then we have had another fencing company install a cedar fence around another property that we own and the fence is a show stopper, we have had no issues with that one but we do have a fence to compare the two companies.
