The history of Applied Exteriors dates back to the 1930s when two Norwegian immigrants, Corey Gustafsson and his brother Ragnar, first worked for the Construction Division of Portlands Masons Supply Company. The Gustafssons worked on projects such as the new Oregon State Capitol building which replaced the capitol building that burned down in 1935.
