First, it was the front load GE washer not draining water and immediately following the "repair" there was a loud squeaking noise for most of the wash cycle that could be heard throughout the entire house. Edwin, the original tech sent out, was seriously unprofessional and inept. During the height of the stay in place COVID 19 mandate and pandemic, he entered our house without wearing the mask that he had in his pocket. I was FURIOUS! When I confronted him, about not wearing the mask, he refused to put it on. He then went to look at the machine (we had already had the tub replaced once before on a 3 yrs old machine) and we knew that the tub was unbalanced and probably missing some bearings (GE seems to make garbage now that needs constant repair). He told me that the floor underneath the machine was not level and that the machine just needed to be pushed around to find a level spot and would then miraculously be fixed. Really? Seems ridiculous to me. I then told him that I found that to be really hard to believe, since he had serviced the machine, in this home and on this floor, several times prior and there was no loud sound. Sound only arrived when he "fixed it last time. We also found several screws or parts on the floor after his last visit. I then got my husband, as we are both working from home during COVID 19, and I told my husband that he would have to deal with Edwin, as my patience was running very thin. Edwin could overhear me telling my husband that I was livid that Edwin was not wearing a mask and that the floor not being level was ridiculous. He immediately changed his diagnosis with my husband to, "I think you need a new tub and there is something wrong with the bearings". MIRACULOUS. He still refused to wear a mask that my husband saw sticking out of his pocket. We called Callahan's to tell them that we did not want Edwin in the house ever again and they sent him out the next day with the tub. We refused him and his associate at the door. When I called Callahan's this morning to explain why we turned them away and requested another rep be sent out, they told me that they would not service my account ever again ( thank God! I am actually waiting for Home Depot to get back to me, since we have a 5 yr warranty on the machine through them and they contracted Callahan's). When I told them, for the second time in 24 hours that I was really disturbed that Edwin would not wear the mask that Callahan provided them, I was told that the owner of the company spoke to Erwin and told him that he would have to wear a mask from now on. I wonder how many houses he had been in over the last week without proper precautions? The owner should have told Edwin to go home and self quarantine for 14 days. I guess Callahan's thinks this pandemic is a joke. Further, I let them know that I was going to be leaving a bad review and they said, "You have to do what you have to do.". It seemed as if they had heard this before. Callahan's puts money over people's well- being. Do not use and do not let Lowes or Home Depot pawn this company off on you.

Callahans is so desperate now, they have their own employees writing reviews on Google. Selena, an employee, has a written review on Google currently of 5 stars. She has the education of an 8th grader so her review reads as such. Anyway, about my story. I am a long time customer of them. I once again called for service for my washing machine. It stopped spinning. The appointment was set for all day, which I didn't like from the start; they would previously give me a time frame. I spoke with Katie Callahan and she was arrogant with me and really rude. I almost didn't make the appointment but I needed a working washer badly. The tech never shows up that day. I called them back only to be met with rudeness. Selena tells me that he got busy and didn't have time. No apologies, nothing. I won't be calling them again.

Half of these 5 star reviews are written by office staff and technicians. This company is a fraud and sham. They lied about when they were coming to my house to fix my stove. I stayed home all day to wait for someone. They finally showed two hours late with no apology. I spoke with Selena at the office and she was extremely rude and condescending to my husband. I would give them "0 " starts if I could. Not worth the trouble.

I was a former employee here. I saw atrocities committed. Rude customer service associates, lying , cheating technicians, dishonest ownership, etc. The techs are paid by commission, so they have a stake in how much they charge for the jobs. There is also a way to price the jobs so that you can add a premium to the quote if the customer is being rude. I've seen this done by employees. They hang up on customers if the customer is being difficult and then let the phones just ring and ring when they call back in. I don't recommend anyone work for this company.
