The worse company I’ve ever dealt with, Kenny makes all these empty promises once he gets paid. We paid him for a the job and he abandoned the work once he got paid. My cabinets were not leveled and you could se the old paint through the new paint. Kenny hardly ever answer his phone and when he does he keeps coming up with sorry excuses. I highly advise you do you do your research before hiring moken home improvements

I hired Moken home improvement to turn my basement into an apartment for my parents and redo my kitchen in my house. I told Kenny Joseph the owner that I need to have the basement done quickly so my parents can move in before a certain date. I must say that he came through on all my wishes. Their work and attention to detail was amazing. The basement came out beautiful. The flooring was the first thing that caught me because it was uneven in lots of places they made it leveled all around. They did a very good job in my kitchen. Kenny custom made a counter top for my island that came out beautiful. I asked him to remove 2 walls and install wood columns and headers so I can have that open kitchen and I love how it came out. It was exactly what I envisioned. I'm in love with my kitchen. I told him that he can post my pics. I'm very happy I chose Moken home improvement for my renovations. I will definitely use them again when I'm ready to do my bathroom

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with this company. I was referred to Kenny (contractor/owner) by his employee Arden. I thoroughly explained to Kenny and Arden that I wanted a DIY kitchen island created in my home. I let them know it was a very simple process of 2 base cabinets being attached together and then a countertop being placed on top. It was very simple and straightforward, however I didn't have the tools, vehicle, or skills to complete it myself so hence the need for their know-how. I even emailed Kenny pictures and the DIY instructions on how to go about completing the project. Kenny assured me this was a project he could complete hassle-free. However, several weeks passed before Kenny even got around to calling me back and setting up a date so that I could meet him and purchase the materials from Home Depot. Since this was a DIY project, I purchased all the materials and just asked Kenny to use his skills and expertise to get the job done. A few days and several phone calls after I purchased the materials, and had them delivered (Kenny didn't have a vehicle to accommodate the materials), and painted the island myself (not part of the deal), Kenny finally returned to place the countertop he created on top of the 2 base cabinets. The quality of Kenny's work on the countertop was great. I was really impressed with the way the countertop came out. Unfortunately, that's where the work ended. Kenny and Arden failed to ever complete the job. They never came back to finish the paneling on the front, back and sides of the island and they never installed the pulls for the cabinet drawers. To this day, I have an incomplete kitchen island in my home and it is such an eyesore. For several months (May 2015-August 2015) I reached out to Kenny and Arden to complete the job they started and I had already paid for. Both of them would keep lying and saying they were going to come back and finish the job, but they never did and they stopped returning my phone calls so I eventually stopped calling. I should have known better than to pay before the job was complete, but you live and learn. I felt Kenny was very unprofessional as he kept pushing me off on Arden (his employee) and telling me it was Arden's responsibility to complete the job. It's a shame he does business this way, because at the end of the day, it's Kenny's name on the company, not Arden's. Now I have to find another contractor to complete a task I've already paid one contractor for. I would not recommend this company and I will never do business with them again. I feel cheated and taken advantage of. It’s sad to say, but I can’t help but think that if I were a man, things would have gone differently. If you're considering hiring this company, you may want to think again.
