We had Mark do some built-ins for us and what we received was nowhere close to a finished product. There were numerous cosmetic issues and the drawers did not function properly. We asked for soft close, and he struggled a lot to get them to work. What we were left with was a built-in that needed to be redone because only ONE of the drawers opens and closes freely. To add insult to injury he was overly sensitive and defensive when we expressed concerns about cosmetic and functionality issues. In the beginning he had started building it in a different style entirely and when I mentioned it he seemed very annoyed. He didn't want to start over so we had exposed plywood edges. This is unacceptable in cabinet work! (Along with glue drips and drastically uneven gaps) I wish I could say it wasn't that bad, but it was. He was not interested in satisfying the customer. We even offered to pay more to have him make fixes! In the end I am grateful he didn't except it. He did refund us a very small amount, but it won't cover the expenses we will need to make to get someone to fix it/rebuild it. I will not be using Mark again and I would advise anyone looking for precision woodwork to look elsewhere.
