Myers | Apr 2014 | Full bathroom remodel consisting of removing the tub completely to create a larger walk in shower. Vanity cabinets were painted and granite countertops with undermount sinks added. Complete custom tile work with wood plank style flooring. Vanity lighting and recessed LED can lights added. | $13k | Holly Springs, NC
Staircase | Aug 2013 | Replaced dated railing with new box newels, stained oak handrail and square balusters. The white newels and pickets provide a great contrast with the dark stained handrail which matches the newly refinished stair treads. | $3k | Raleigh, NC
Dubrule | Aug 2013 | Replaced all tile work in the master shower and floor. Previous shower had developed a small leak but with proper waterproofing the Dubrule's will now have a worry free shower. In addition to the tile work, we added in the frameless glass enclosure creating a clean and sleek look. | $9k | Cary, NC
Deck Addition | Aug 2013 | Installed a deck off of a 2nd floor bonus room over a detached garage. This deck provided a small challenge of being a little of 12ft off the ground. While the deck is fairly small, the challenges were setting the two post to support the deck around an existing shed. After framing was complete we attached the decking materials and railings. The railings were fitted with black aluminum balusters creating a more open feel. | $3k | Middleburg, NC
Cabinet Painting | Aug 2013 | This kitchen had solid wood custom cabinets already installed. Unfortunately there was not one part of the kitchen that said modern or "up-to-date". Because of the solid cabinets and the desire for white cabinets it was easy to make the decision to refinish. The cabinets were sanded, prepped, and then painted with a latex enamel paint. The latex enamel dries very hard resulting in a durable and scrubbable finish without the strong odor of an oil based painted. Latex paint also has more elasticity than and oil based paint resulting in less cracking and chipping. In addition to just painting, crown moulding was added to provide more detail and height to the cabinets. After the cabinets were put back together a nice black granite that resembles the movement of marble was installed along with a tumbled travertine backsplash, new sink and faucet, as well as all new stainless steel appliances. In addition, the hardwood floors were refinished throughout the entire first floor in a dark walnut stain creating great contrast between the cabinets and the floors. | $14k | Raleigh, NC
Pearls Place | Aug 2013 | This very large deck sitting on Kerr Lake was in need of a replacement after many years of weather. The deck was completely torn down and replaced. The stairs were widened and pickets were added in making it safer for kids and pets. The bench around the massive tree was also replaced to keep a maximum amount of seating on the deck. | $6k | Middleburg, NC
Ledoyen | Aug 2013 | The Ledoyen's had been kicked out of their master bathroom shower for quite awhile because of water leaking at the kneewall thanks to not being properly waterproofed. After the homeowners chose a beautiful travertine tile for their master we started the intricate install. All appropriate waterproofing materials were first installed followed by the awesome tile pattern the Ledoyen's chose for the floor. We installed the wall tile next with straight lay starting courses followed by a deco row, then a diagonal pattern with niche, followed by another deco row before two more rows of straight lay tile before the bullnose that was created onsite. To keep the tile as the highlight of the bathroom we installed a frameless glass enclosure with clamps keeping the oiled bronze metal at a minimum. Granite countertops went on top of the existing cabinets and new light fixture installed to highlight all of the beautiful natural stone. | $15k | Cary, NC
Gentry-Gasper | Aug 2013 | In this homeowners kitchen we dressed up the builders grade cabinets by adding crown moulding to the wall cabinets. To dress up the island we added baseboard along with shadow boxing, taking this standard base cabinet to a custom island. After the cabinets were painted we installed the tumbled travertine backsplash to bring the granite and new cabinet color together. The homeowners painted the walls a nice dark mocha color which really makes the cabinets pop. | $4k | Raleigh, NC |
