Eric and his crew arrived on time and didn't move on to another job until ours was done. They diligently redid our entire interior - removing popcorn ceiling, painting trim, caulking, painting interior walls, doors, and ceilings. They were patient and cooperative around the other contractors that were at our home doing other jobs and professional about all their interactions with us. Not only was their work excellent, but they keep the site clean enough to where we could actually live in the home while all this interior work was being done! Communication throughout the process was prompt, easy, professional and effective. Eric and his crew work with integrity, with fair prices, superb quality, and an easy demeanor. Out of all the work crews I've had at my place in this year of projects, his are the most honest and happy. Eric also knew other good folks to point me to when I requested, trim, electrical and dry wall work. I will use Hardee time and again for any more paint projects in the future.

We used Eric Hardee to paint our house and although the original estimate was for $2,400 when he gave us the final bill it came to more than $4,000. He removed roughly 20% of the boards on the side of my house leaving a huge exposed hole before receiving approval or providing a written estimate. When we confronted him about this and stated we didn't agree to this, he threatened to walk off the job so we felt like I had no choice but to agree to the additional cost. We asked multiple times if he thought just one coat would cover the house and he stated confidently that it would. Since he is supposed to be a professional painter we took him at his word. After the first coat of paint, the house was incredibly splotchy and you could clearly see the other color bleeding through. We felt that we had no choice but to pay the additional charge for a second coat of paint. We feel that his estimate (only one coat of paint) is incredibly deceptive and doing work without consent and a written estimate and then threatening to leave the job he started when confronted is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
