Zero stars should be an option. Because Ken Vander Wiel deserves none. He stole $1,000 deposit from me and refuses to honor the contract we signed. I also gave him a job at my friend’s house and now her shower is molding. If you check out Yelp he scammed multiple families out of tens of thousands dollars after Harvey and then changed his company name. He is just a typical sleazy contractor that does subpar work and scams people.

I hired VW Remodeling to remodel my kitchen, floors and a bathroom. From the initial estimate, I was pleased with the attention to detail. This carried through the entire project up until completion. At the point of completion, as agreed, we did a detailed walk of the site and project before I was asked to cut the final payment. It took 2 additional days at that point to complete, but Ken was very thorough and didn't wince a bit with any detail I pointed out. He was absolutely happy to make me happy. Take that for what it is, he will always have the business of myself and everyone I know. Thank you!
