I needed quite a few lights replaced and some ceiling fans installed in our new home. Shane with Maverick Electrical responded within a half hour and gave me an estimate over phone. He came within 48 hours and did a beautiful job of getting everything hooked up and working properly. Even figured out some weird wiring the owners before us had done. He was right on with his estimate and was done quickly and we are enjoying all our new lighting in the house. Very nice, very efficient and very fair pricing. No up selling and no going over the estimate. We are very happy with his service and will definitely call him next time we need electrical done. We highly recommend this business!

Exterior Light and WIFI Thermostat | Mar 2016 | The homeowners purchased a new exterior motion sensor light fixture for the front door, and requested help installing it. We installed the light fixture and made sure it was working properly. They had also purchased a new WIFI enabled thermostat for the home, and wanted help installing it. The furnace is an electric furnace run by a 24 volt thermostat with only 3 wires, no "C" or common wire. This wire is required in order to provide constant power to the WIFI thermostat. There were two unused wires in the thermostat wire cable. We installed a 120 volt to 24 volt transformer in the control enclosure on the furnace, hooked it up to the furnace power, and ran the 24 volt power through the two spare thermostat wires to power the WIFI thermostat. We then assisted the customer with the set-up process for the new thermostat. | $348 | Blackfoot, ID | |
Electrical Troubleshooting | Jan 2016 | Homeowner had a light and some receptacles that were not working, or working only intermittently. After some investigation it was discovered that one of the receptacles was bad, which caused a loose connection of the neutral wire, and thus affected the devices downline in that circuit. In and out in two hours, new receptacle, resecured wiring, everything working as it should. | $275 | Pocatello, ID |
