I hired Galloway property maintenance to do an upgrade to my bathroom. He showed up and worked about 6 hours. I gave him 50% of the total cost of the job. Once I paid him he stopped showing I would call and he said he would come and never show up. Mind you he said the job would be done in 3 days. Very unethical business practices. Much of the work he did needs to be redone. Don't hire this firm.

I am a licensed plumbing contractor Steve hired to do some rough plumbing in a bathroom. I quoted Steve a price, which we agreed on and scheduled a day to complete the work. After completing the work, I received a text message from Steve saying he got into an argument with the home owner and was no longer on the job. I have called Steve three times regarding payment for the material I provided, and the work I quoted and completed and he will not return my calls. Judging by his other reviews, I'm not at all surprised he's ignoring my calls, seems to be a common theme with him. I would never hire Steve to do anything for me. In my brief contact with him he has shown himself to be dishonest and untrustworthy

Steve was quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. He came out on Sunday to give an estimate and was able to get the job done 2 days later. He installed 2 EV 50 Amp plugs that I tested and they worked perfectly. He was even able to modify the job a little bit and get extra parts when I changed my mind about the placement of one of the plugs.

Steve said it would cost 1/3 to just replace door and fix/paint outside fame than to replace entire frame/door in front. It cost me 1/2 ($925) of what Home Depot quoted to replace entire door/frame, and not 1/3 like Steve said. The door was not put in properly as cold air was and still is coming through top and bottom of door. After we complained, he tried sealing it with foam (air still coming in). When he sealed around the door, the door would NOT open anymore. We have 2 kids and this is a major fire hazard. We have to now go out of the house from our garage. We called multiple times and left multiple messages. We called from different phone line and Steve, owner, finally picked up. He said he would be out first thing in the morning; never showed up (surprise). Thereafter, called multiple times and no answer. We called on yet another line, he picked-up and when he knew it was us, he pretended not to hear us (NOT professional at all). We should have done our research (please do yours) and picked a qualified contractor to do our work (not one that just wants to get paid and run). Also, the work he did was NOT worth the money we paid and the hassle we went through (again, NOT professional). I usually never write reviews. However, I wanted customers to beware of this company before you hire them. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone. Once you pay him, he will never show up if and when (because you will) have any issues. We have filed a complaint with the Attorney General of NY and our next steps will be court. I will go out of my way and pay more in court costs and time to see through that this company knows that they cannot push around hard working people. We want Steve to either refund our money or fix the issue. If the company cares how they do business, they will respond. I don't have high hopes with how we have been treated.

Webster remodel. | Mar 2015 | I have been fully remodeling a home in webster for about two weeks. This project was one of biggest yet. I completely gutted a 2700 square foot home and added all new up to date electric and fixtures. | Webster, NY |
