I had ice damming and contacted this company. The son came right out. My insurance company covered the damage and he went to work removing the mold in the attic and doing the demo. No complaints about that but my adjustor did tell me that the cost was much higher than he has seen. He left one lower cabinet and the stove hooked up because I had two toddlers . I greatly appreciated this. However, they finally had to remove all of my kitchen and disconnect my stove. My insurance company paid him directly for the demo and mold abatement. Once that was done he(the son) sent my adjustor an estimate to do the work to put my house back. I never saw it before my adjustor did, but my adjustor told me that he approved his estimate of $19,000.00. Since they don't send the whole amount I did get a check but not for $19,000.00. However, I was told by this contractor (the son) that I had to pay for the materials. Which I did, the cabinets, flooring, the paint, even down to the nails, screw and caulk!! This all came out of my pocket. Then the son went on vacation, that was planned, and his father came over with the contracts, 12 of them!! When I asked how much they all totaled I was told $19,000.00, the total amount of the estimate that was sent to my insurance adjustor!! I questioned this and I called my adjustor and was told it included labor and material! So I needed to talk to the son, who had the conversation with my adjustor, except he was on vacation. Their contract states I only had 3 days to cancel them so I did making it known it was only until I could talk to the son. When I talked to the son and was informed that he had a conversation with the adjustor that it was labor only, we verbally agreed that he, the son, would come over and write new contracts. We were talking on the phone and in text messages regarding the new flooring. Then he told me the got COVID but I learned he had been in home depot. After April 3 all communication stopped!! I called, emailed and texted and no response at all! They didn't even have the decency to let me know they didn't want to work for me since I questioned their very high labor costs. They left me high and dry with no kitchen and no contractor. Their "team" consists of the son, who I had no problem with except he too would not respond, his 70 yr old father, a 60 yr old man and his 17 yr old son!. They did have a drywaller come and do that and he was going to have a flooring guy come and do the floors. Hire at your own risk, just don't question their high labor costs and by the way, he told me that he never includes materials because the prices change!!! I have since learned that no one else is doing it that way.
