Chesterfield Avenue - Deck Demo and Build - IN PROGRESS

Feb 2015

In this project, we had to tear down an existing covered deck attached to the rear of the house and build a screened in deck. The existing deck was sinking and pulling the side of the house down, leaving stress cracks and damage on the interior of the house. The existing deck also had a significant amount of rot in the ceiling.

Timberline Drive - Cabinet & Appliance Installation

Jan 2015

In this project, we were asked to install 25 IKEA cabinets and all of the kitchen appliances. The installation required assembly of all cabinets prior to installation. Despite recently being remodeled by another contractor, the walls were significantly out of plumb and square, requiring a significant amount of work with the cabinetry. Cabinets: IKEA, Counter: IKEA, Floor: Unknown

Matterhorn Lane - Kitchen Remodel

Dec 2014

In this project, we were tasked with lifting the ceiling about a foot to match the rest of the ceiling line. Once the ceiling was opened, we found quite a few issues with the plumbing from above and the ducting. We raised all of the plumbing lines and moved the HVAC ducting to create the space that the homeowners originally asked for. This project also included adding new 220V electrical circuits for the induction cooktop and oven, cabinetry, flooring, and recessed lighting. Cabinets: IKEA, Counter: Countersource, Flooring: Tile Shop

Chesterfield Avenue - Kitchen Remodel

Nov 2014

In this job, the layout of the kitchen pretty much remained the same, with the exception of the range location. The homeowner opted to do away with the range and install a cooktop and slide-in oven on the other side of the kitchen. This required us to move the gas line up and over the kitchen to the exterior wall. Once we opened the walls, we found that the kitchen was never insulated so we went ahead and installed insulation. Other unique things about this project included moving the water supply lines into the wall, and branching a supply line outside to allow for an outdoor sink. The project also includes cabinet installation, counter top, wainscoting for the backsplash, recessed lighting, wood plank floor tile and open shelving over the sink. Cabinets: IKEA, Counter: Floor & Decor, Flooring: Floor & Decor

Piedmont Avenue - Garage Renovation

Jan 2015

In this project, we updated an old, withering garage in Austin. The existing walls were damaged and the drywall tape was falling off. The walls were never sealed and therefore needed some work to get the garage looking nice again.
