We hired Billy to do the work on our kitchen remodel (Matterhorn Lane pics) and are thrilled with the results! It has completely changed how we live in our house and we now spend about 70% of our time downstairs in the kitchen. We recently got married and had a large group of friends and family in the house and heard nothing but compliments on the great work Billy and his team did. The quality of the work was fantastic and it was always easy having the team in our house - they were impeccably clean and respectful. Highest marks!

I hired WK Design & Remodeling for my kitchen remodel, and I couldn't be happier! It looks exactly the way I wanted, and they were incredibly professional and courteous. I feel like my kitchen could be in a magazine now, and I love cooking again! I will definitely be contacting them when I get my bathroom remodeled finally!

We hired WK Design & Remodeling in the fall of 2014 to remodel our kitchen. They did such a great job on our kitchen, that we promptly hired them again to demo our porch and rebuild a deck and screened in porch. From our very first meeting, Billy had so many great suggestions and really helped guide us through the kitchen remodel process. I can't say enough good things about the team. Billy is fair, creative and super responsive. He never tries to upsale anything and he has great ideas on recommendations if you are trying to save some money. Their work is accurate and detailed and they left the space clean and dog proof each day. I also loved feeling completely comfortable giving them access to our home each day.Not to mention that they are hilarious..and made the process fun! They did a fabulous job on our home and we will definitely be using WK Design for additional home projects!

I hired WK Design for a garage upgrade project after hearing positive reviews from several other people- and I was not disappointed. They approached the project in a very professional manner- giving me feedback on what they thought would not only address my concerns, But also add value to my house. The project included replacing my back door + trim, installing the dog door I had purchased, repairing/finishing out the sheetrock in my garage + painting/sealing walls and installing baseboards, and cleaning/etching/painting/sealing the floors. The cost estimate provided was both fair & competitive and the final work Came in within the budget estimated. My project was not on as large a scale as many that I know WK Design works on, but it was still treated with the same sense Of timeliness and professionalism. The team provided me with updates on the project daily and made certain that the work space was left clean And “doggy-proof” for my 4 legged kiddos at the end of each day. I felt completely comfortable giving the team full access to my house (which is a huge plus in my book). I was thoroughly pleased with the final product and service provided along the way— I will definitely be looking to WK Design for additional home improvement Projects in the future!

Chesterfield Avenue - Deck Demo and Build - IN PROGRESS | Feb 2015 | In this project, we had to tear down an existing covered deck attached to the rear of the house and build a screened in deck. The existing deck was sinking and pulling the side of the house down, leaving stress cracks and damage on the interior of the house. The existing deck also had a significant amount of rot in the ceiling. | $10k | Austin, TX
Timberline Drive - Cabinet & Appliance Installation | Jan 2015 | In this project, we were asked to install 25 IKEA cabinets and all of the kitchen appliances. The installation required assembly of all cabinets prior to installation. Despite recently being remodeled by another contractor, the walls were significantly out of plumb and square, requiring a significant amount of work with the cabinetry. Cabinets: IKEA, Counter: IKEA, Floor: Unknown | $4k | Austin, TX
Matterhorn Lane - Kitchen Remodel | Dec 2014 | In this project, we were tasked with lifting the ceiling about a foot to match the rest of the ceiling line. Once the ceiling was opened, we found quite a few issues with the plumbing from above and the ducting. We raised all of the plumbing lines and moved the HVAC ducting to create the space that the homeowners originally asked for. This project also included adding new 220V electrical circuits for the induction cooktop and oven, cabinetry, flooring, and recessed lighting. Cabinets: IKEA, Counter: Countersource, Flooring: Tile Shop | $12k | Austin, TX
Chesterfield Avenue - Kitchen Remodel | Nov 2014 | In this job, the layout of the kitchen pretty much remained the same, with the exception of the range location. The homeowner opted to do away with the range and install a cooktop and slide-in oven on the other side of the kitchen. This required us to move the gas line up and over the kitchen to the exterior wall. Once we opened the walls, we found that the kitchen was never insulated so we went ahead and installed insulation. Other unique things about this project included moving the water supply lines into the wall, and branching a supply line outside to allow for an outdoor sink. The project also includes cabinet installation, counter top, wainscoting for the backsplash, recessed lighting, wood plank floor tile and open shelving over the sink. Cabinets: IKEA, Counter: Floor & Decor, Flooring: Floor & Decor | $9k | Austin, TX
Gold Fish Pond Avenue - Kitchen Design | Nov 2014 | This is a kitchen design for a remodel that was put on hold due to health issues with our client. | $430 | Austin, TX
Cottle Drive, Austin, TX - Bathroom Remodels | Feb 2015 | In this project, we remodeled two bathrooms that recently had some mold remediation completed. | $6k | Austin, TX
Piedmont Avenue - Garage Renovation | Jan 2015 | In this project, we updated an old, withering garage in Austin. The existing walls were damaged and the drywall tape was falling off. The walls were never sealed and therefore needed some work to get the garage looking nice again. | $2k | Austin, TX
Yucca Drive - Bathroom Remodel - | Jan 2015 | Remodel guest bathroom in 1100 square foot home. The walls had to all be removed due to heavy, outdated texture. All of the bathroom fixtures and furniture was replaced. Flooring: Floor & Decor, Vanity: IKEA, Cabinet: IKEA, Fixtures: Home Depot | $6k | Round Rock, TX
Timberline Drive - Double Hung Door Installation | Jan 2015 | In this project, we replaced an existing, outdated double hung door with a new one. The project required new interior and exterior trim, along with new quarter round on the side windows to match the door. | $400 | Austin, TX |
