Client had a large room that he wanted wired and finished with a Home Theater setup to include a large screen and projector with surround sound. We sat down to discuss his options and came up with a Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 layout with a 120 inch screen and lighting control for his newly installed in ceiling lights. Simply-Connected AV supplied the wiring, cables, screen, speakers, projector, receiver, Blu Ray player, dimmer and remote control to complete the project. The only drawback we found was running wiring, although this is what we do all the time...each house can present a different scenario once the work starts due to layouts, but the job was completely in a timely manner and our client was very satisfied and even called us back a week later to complete more work on another room of his house.

This client was referred by another that I had done several jobs for and was looking for help on expanding the control of his music throughout his home. The client already had a smaller RTI system of which I am an authorized and certified technician for, so I was able to help him upgrade a few components to allow for more music choices, plus full control over all his TVs and other audio components through his iPad. i also went ahead and added NuVo music streaming players for 4 locations in order to give a more personalized experience for music listening as he or anyone in the home can pull up their own music on their smart device and stream directly through the entire house. He also had us moved several TVs to new locations as well as install a new Curved TV over his fireplace. I also explained the possibilities of having the music turned on and off for his dogs while he is away, just by setting the program to do so which will help his pets stay calm while they are alone.

I was contacted by a client who has a Pro Control Remote that operates his Home Theater system. The last programmer did not complete the job and left the client with an nonworking system. Since the client needs the remote to control the drop down screen as well as projector and they were not programmed, nor was 90% of the system...I was asked to take over and figure out what was wrong. I was also asked to diagnose the reason for him not having a picture displayed on the screen anymore. The first thing that was done was to figure the issue with the picture not displaying, turns out he had a lighting strike and lost one of the video boards on the receiver as well as damaged the long HDMI cable going between the receiver and projector because it was also a powered unit. With the replacement done, he now had a working system with sound and picture, shortly after that I had the remote program completed and tested...client was very thankful since it had been that way for several months. I do troubleshooting a lot and usually can have the client's issue fixed or figured out within the first hour or two.

We have done several jobs for this client including an upgrade to their whole house audio and home wifi network coverage expansion and so when they decided to build on to their existing outdoor living space...they wanted to enjoy the new space by adding music and video. We started with pre wire of the structure and set up for a new TV over an out door fireplace, what started as just a pair of speakers turned into a full surround under the patio and adding stereo speakers by the outdoor kitchen area. We also add another access point for extended range to help for when they are swimming and need to control their speakers by the pool. We were also asked to install a camera system around the property in order to give them peace of mind. To simplify operation, the TV and system can be controlled through a Pro Control remote since the equipment is located indoors.

Client was building a new home and needed his whole house audio system and living room 7.1 system installed in the new home. The builder would not allow for anyone to come in during the build in order to prewire the necessary wires or locations and therefore everything had to be installed after his move in. We went to clients old home and removed all the TVs and rest of equipment that he hadn't already taken down, moved the TVs and equipment to the new home and planned the next few days of work. I was able to do a walk through while the house was in frame in order to get a look at structure for placement of his whole house speakers...the control keypads and even the living room 7.1 surround. While we were in there running all the wires, the client also had us run a few extra network lines for later use. The entire project took 2.5 days and the client and his wife were extremely happy with the outcome.

This client was building a new custom home and had another company come in and pre wire the entire house according to what she originally wanted as far as equipment location and visibility. When it came time to do the finish out work and actually install the system that would run the entire house, her budget was already out of control and had to rethink her options, so she called us in and had us evaluate what could be done from what she was looking for. Within a few days I had a new proposal together using components that I have used in several homes before because of their ease of use and reliability when it comes to control. The media room 7.1 and whole house had Polk Audio speakers installed into the pre wired locations, a new 75 inch TV was also installed in the media room along with 4 other TVs through out the home, a second 5.1 surround was installed in the downstairs living room along with a new 65 inch tv, all of the cable boxes, apple tvs, blu ray players, receivers, along with all the home network gear was installed into a rack that is located upstairs in a vented closet. The control system is an RTI system that uses several handheld remotes for each of the TV locations and touch panel remotes in the living and media rooms. Once completed there were a couple of hiccups due to interference with certain appliances in the room...but after going over the issue and finding a solution...she has been up and running for almost 2 years now. Not all projects go off without an issue, but we are always available and take care of all clients with the utmost priority.

Client was referred by an in law that I had done several jobs for including a media room. The client moved into a home that had an existing Theater Room, but it was almost 10 years old as far as equipment. I was asked to upgrade system. We removed the smaller 80 inch screen and installed a 110 inch SI Slate screen, Definitive Technology BP 8060ST Towers replaced the old towers and sub, the old center was replaced by a Definitive Technology CS-8040HD and all the rest of the old on wall speakers were replaced with Definitive Technology DI 6.5 LCR surround and surround back speakers, a Sony Projector replaced the non HDMI Mitsubishi projector, the Denon receiver was replaced with a New Onkyo Network receiver, we added a Sony blu ray player and since the equipment sits inside a closet, it is all controlled by a Pro Control remote which the client actually loves over her old logitech one.
