Wicker Installation LLC

This company was referred by AHS warranty. They came out and diagnosed my problem. This was after they cut a hole in my ceiling, put 3 wax rings on a toilet (didn't work) and informed us we needed to cut out a 12x12 area of tile. They turned the diagnosis in and stated it was due to pvc pipe under the toilet and the pipe had to be modified. They wanted to charge $1000. We had our own second opinion and a plumber came out and replaced the flange for $60. Consumer beware this company will take advantage of you. I wish I could give them a -0-.

My home warranty company called this company out to check out my water heater and a slow drain that had an old drain stopper stuck in it. After checking out the water heater, they determined that it did need to be replaced. Although the home warranty would pay for the water heater, these guys still quoted us over $1000 due to needing to bring the installation up to code. First of all, the water heater was up to code already due to having a drainage vent pipe that lead outside. Second of all, they quoted around $350 for a part that we found easily for $150, a blatant overcharge. Third, they claimed that no water heater on the market would fit through the door frame and that the closet was built around the current water heater. My father was able to slide both the original out and the new one in with no difficulties. Also, after they checked out the drain, it suddenly became MUCH slower. For comparison, it originally took about 5 minutes to drain fully after a 3 minute shower. Once they left, it took around 1 hour and 20 minutes to drain after the same length of shower. Seems very suspicious considering their overcharging and our warranty insisting on using them. I would not recommend this company to anyone due to their shady practices and unethical lies towards the consumer.

I had Wicker Installation assigned to me by my warranty company American Home Shield (AHS) on Saturday 3/13/2021. Wicker Installation came to my house the following Monday 3/15/2021. They found a very small leak in the drainage pipe right under the sink inside the kitchen island wall. They made a video, showed it to me and said they will submit the info to AHS because they will need to make a bigger hole in the wall and some things like replacement of the plywood in the wall might not be covered by the warranty, so AHS will first need to agree with me on the cost of the repairs if something is not covered. Again all these happened on Monday 3/15/2021. Since Monday I had been calling Wicker Installation every day asking them to submit all info to AHS asap. Only on Thursday 3/18/2021 they finally submitted something to AHS saying that I have a leak due to soil/foundation movement which is a complete nonsense. So now I have to wait for a different contractor visit to my house assigned by AHS for the second opinion check.

Andrew and Scotty came out and in 1 1/2-2 hours had a water line repaired, they actually repaired the damaged line due to some other plumbers who messed up. I can’t say enough on how appreciative I am of these guys and the company. I will definitely be calling and using them again.
