| Porch Close-in | Apr 2015 | I recently closed-in a screened porch using Azek panels on the exterior, fiberglass panels on the interior (1" extruded foam panels between, with an insulated ceiling covered with vented soffit, composite vinyl flooring and a mid-view storm door. Vinyl handrails were installed both from the house to the porch and from the porch to the backyard. White vinyl lattice was installed from the (deck/floor) to the ground. We discovered the porch was not supported (properly/sufficiently) so....we dug pits under the floor trusses (down below the freeze line supported with cinderblocks in (6) areas to provide "proper support". | $12k | Lexington Park, MD | |
