Ray Gilbert and Sons

Ray Gilbert & Sons is a small family-owned general contracting business specializing in roofing services. Located in Creve Couer, Missouri. After serving courageously and earning a Silver Star and two Purple Hearts in the Korean War, Ray Gilbert began Ray Gilbert & Sons, Inc. in 1957 in central Illinois. He designed and constructed homes, schools, office buildings, water treatment facilities, and everything in between. He was so well liked and respected, that the people of Altamont, Illinois voted him in as Mayor of the town. After his sudden death in 1983, the company was given to his son Brian Gilbert who then held onto the company and used it primarily as a billboard business while he worked as a pharmacist. Now, after completing his bachelor's in economics and minors in financial planning and business, Ray's grandson Alex Gilbert has decided to bring the company back to life and continue what his grandfather started. Alex's goal is to build Ray Gilbert & Sons, Inc. up to offer more services including renewable energy alternatives.
