I would never refer anyone to LK Mechanical or whatever 5 other company names Larry Meier has used in the past. Initially, my home warranty sent his company out due to a heating issue. They seemed to be a good company. About a year later, I had an A/C issue so I called Larry. Him and his coworker came out to diagnose the problem. We ended up deciding to get a new A/C unit installed. From there, everything went down hill. The new unit never worked properly. It leaked tons of water into the filter tray causing the A/C to stop working until the water was sucked out and a new filter was put in. They diagnosed it as the drain losing gravity so they decided to cut a hole in the side of my air handler and install a condensation pump. It seemed like the right thing to do after talking to Larry and the other guy. Still, the A/C never ran properly. The next season comes and the A/C starts leaking water in the filter area again. After trying to get in touch with LK Mechanical for a week, I decided to call another HVAC company. Turns out, Larry isn't quite the honest guy he seems to be. The A/C unit is too big for my house and cannot ever work properly in my home. The air handler should have been changed because you can't use a 2 1/2 ton air handler for a 3 1/2 tom A/C unit. So, they decided to customize my air handler to fit an oversized coil that was never made to fit into a 2 1/2 handler. Also, Larry (LK Mechanical) never obtained the proper permits to install the unit in my home. If they had, the inspector would've known what they did was not correct. After hearing this news, I contacted LK Mechanical. Larry came out and inspected everything and said he would fix it. I asked him to get the proper permits before he installs/fixes anything else. I never heard from Larry again. I've had two more companies come out that gave the same diagnosis. I have contacted Larry through email. text, certified letter, BBB and other outlets without any response. It took some time to track down his address to serve him with papers suing him for a full refund. I would not recommend this company to anyone. You will be disappointed. Please check the reviews on multiple sites. I was suprised to see even a 3.9 rating for this company. The ratings on every other review site are barley 2 stars. Do not make the same mistake we did. It has cost us a lot of money to repair the damages that they caused. Do not assume because a warranty company sent them that they are a good business or have insurance. These people are frauds. They do not hold a mechanical license so they cannot pull permits. They are operating illegally and ripping people off left and right.

The Home Warranty company used sent this company to my parents house. I understand that it can be hard diagnosing a problem, however each service tech told my parents something different. The last tech didn't tell them anything, unplugged their unit from the outside during a heat advisory, and did not leave a receipt. Now, they're refusing to answer or return phone calls. Now, we're being told by the Home Warranty that LK Mechanical needs to replace the inside coils and it cost $600 to modify and $40 to dispose. I truly believe they're trying to take advantage of my parents because of their age and lack of knowledge about the industry.

We have recently had Lk heating out due to a warranty company, it took them three weeks to come to our hom and stated it was our compressor, they then left our house in absolute disarray and could not get our air working. After having another company come out and tell us their work was criminal, we decided to let the BBB know they left our flu valve off, if we would have turned on our heat, our house and oil dive blown up: they took our smoke detector down... we would’ve had no clue if a fire stared. They then check the compressor this company put in and after three weeks they come to find out they ordered the wrong compressor part. Please never use this company and put your family in danger

Larry came to install gas logs we purchased from Lowes. He was very respectful of our home. He placed throws on the floor to protect the carpet and catch any debris. He cleaned up completely and thoroughly. Our logs were defective and we had to have Larry back out for a reinstall. I figured there would be another charge since it was no fault of installer that the logs were defective. Larry went out of his way he reinstalled the new logs at no cost because he cared that much. Thank you Larry. We appreciate your kind and courteous service and we will use you again in the future.
