Lumberjack Land Clearing & Tree Service LLC

Mr Jackson and his company came to GA after hurricane Michael in 2018. We had extensive trees down and damage done. He told us he and his team would have my late mother's yard looking like nothing ever happened for $17,000. I trusted him since a client of mine referred him to me and they did good work at her home. I made my down payment and his crew got to work. At the end of the project Mr Jackson pressed me to get him the final payment since he was heading back to FL for a couple of weeks. I paid him in good faith the remainder of the balance then headed out to the farm that evening to survey the work. There were several issues that hadn't been completed that were in the original contract. I contacted him and he assured me they would come back and address the issues. After a couple of months of him not returning we came to an agreement that I would get a second company in to finish and correct the work. I was told by Mr Jackson he would cover the bill just to send it to him. That bill was 1,600 which i gave to him and after a couple of months made the first of the installments we agreed to, $400. It has now been a year and I can not get Mr Jackson to respond. He took advantage of a disaster zone and is dishonest so beware. I current filed with the BBB which he chose to ignore as well. This man does not stand behind his work and is a complete scam artist. I gave him ample opportunity to get in contact with me before leaving any review or reporting him.
