Robin Wengert is a great contractor with a very high integrity. He stands behind his word and his work. He Listens to my concerns and takes them into account when moving forward on the project. I would not use anybody else for all my construction projects. He has managed multi million dollar projects in the past.

Green Rising has done several projects for us on our home and outbuildings, and all of them have come in on budget and with awesome quality. I love how Robin will allow owners to specify what level of finish they'd like him to take the project to, so that we can do some of the work ourselves to either save on costs, or just in case we want to have the learning experience. Of course, he can also bring projects to full finish, and always surpasses expectations. Highly recommended.

We're talking about a solar project I want done in April. He spent a great deal of time explaining it to me and I appreciated his effort. I plan to use him then.
Having known Robin for over 15 years gives me the advantage of knowing a little about his history. He has been in the business of construction all the time I've known him. He is a quality craftsman and more importantly, he is honest. You can count on his integrity and his craftsmanship.

700 Sq. Ft. addition and remodel | Nov 2014 | 700 square foot Master Bedroom and custom bathroom addition. This addition was built using high performance building techniques including a fully insulated slab on grade floor, high efficiency double insulated wall systems, timber frame roof construction with a insulated membrane roof. Reclaimed exterior 3/4 x 10 cedar bevel siding augmented with T-111 plywood siding over a vented rain screen drainage plain to eliminate condensation inside the wall cavity. And U-29 vinyl frame frame windows. a Kubix HRV was also added to ensure proper ventilation and humidity control. The interior sheet rock used a paperless wall board which was finished smooth and painted a base color. A two tone vinyl acrylic knock-down texture was then added to the painted smooth wall finish and troweled while wet creating a faux-Mexican plaster finish for a southwest flavor to the interior of the addition. The interior is an open floor plan with a view over looking Ten Mile Lake. Tile entries at both entry doors and matching tile in front of a 12 foot patio door ensure moisture doesn't damage floors upon entry from any of the openings. Four skylights and plenty of windows give an abundance of natural light, while rows of full spectrum florescent indirect lighting and many interior ceiling fixtures provides ample lighting when natural light is subdued, or at night. Bathroom boasts a 2 1/2" thick, custom live edge myrtle wood slab counter top with dual custom glass crucible sinks and a marble tumbled stone river rock backs-plash. A matching custom live edge maple and glass block shelf assembly bring together the counter top and glass block shower enclosure. The entire floor of the bathroom is matching 12x12 porcelain tile mimicking terrazzo with a river rock inlay extending from the sinks, around in a pathway to the shower. The floor of the shower is entirely river rock set to slope down to a linear floor drain disguised with the same river rock installed on the tileable drain grate. The walls of the shower boast vertically mounted 16x24 porcelain tiles to match the floor of the bathroom and a river rock "waterfall" in the corner of the shower, along with a tile soap/shampoo shelf. | $93k | Lakeside, OR | |
