Doctors Office for Salem Pain and Spine Specialists | Oct 2016 | This project was developed from an empty lot; six actually. The design was done by Stephen with SABArchitects based out of Seattle WA. The owners, Carlos and Rebeca, needed a space to allow for their expanding business. They wanted a building that would meet the needs of their patients, doctors, and staff while keeping in mind future expansion. As for the design parameters, they leaned towards contemporary with the warm feel of the Northwest. They also wanted to implement energy conscious features wherever possible. The end result was a 6000 sqft space, open environment inside, with touches of natural wood, metal, and glass throughout for everybody to enjoy. | Salem, OR
Kitchen and Bathroom(s) Remodel | Jan 2014 | In this project we remodeled the kitchen, master and guest bathroom, and installed new tile floors both upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets have unique glass doors and panels. The owner wanted a very clean look in the kitchen. In effect she wanted it to disappear. Her inspiration was pulled from a visit to a kitchen design company in Paris. We all put our heads together and worked through all the details and wishes. The designer used on the project was Stefan Krupelak, Domov ID. | Vancouver, WA
Full house renovation/remodel- Project Management | Sep 2008 | This project involved completely remodeling and renovating all areas of the house. The owner wanted to open up the living space, connect the upstairs with the downstairs, and provide an unobstructed view of the river beyond. He had the location but the rest of the picture was lacking. This required some intense engineering, imagination, and skill to carry out. A day didn't go by where the owner didn't require all of us to think outside of the box and in the moment. He prefaced every morning meeting with, "I was thinking..." and it was our job to make it a reality. | Vancouver, WA
Full house renovation/remodel | Aug 2008 | The owners bought an older house in a highly desired location. They wanted to completely overhaul the entire look and feel of the house, inside and out. This entailed remodeling the kitchen, three bathrooms, fireplace, all flooring, entry stairs, deck, front porch, and adding windows and doors. | Salem, OR
Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel | Aug 1999 | The owners of this house wanted to redesign the kitchen so it was more in proportion to the house and make it a comfortable gathering place to match the evolution of the family dynamics. The existing kitchen was the galley style that didn't allow for more than one person in the kitchen at a time. The removal of the adjacent laundry and bathroom allowed us to expand the kitchen into a comfortable space for the family to enjoy for years to come. They also wanted the master bathroom and closet remodeled since these two areas were the last two areas of the house that gave them pause. After the completion of these projects, the house feels in perfect balance. Now the interior of the house relates to what you expect as you approach from the stunning exterior setting...a scene from On Golden Pond. | Salem, OR |
