Built a fully accessible master bedroom addition for a Vietnam veteran who uses a wheelchair because of the loss of both of his legs. The bedroom features a zero step entry accessed from the driveway by way of the deck. The bathroom features a curbless shower, comfort height commode and accessible vanity.

In order to transform a full bath into a luxurious spa like bath that will serve the needs of everyone regardless of age or ability, we completely gutted the bathroom, removing the tub which was on the side, creating a narrow passage to the rest of the bathroom. We installed a curbless shower at the end of the bathroom to open up the floor space. Features include an overhead rainshower, handheld showerhead on slide bar, brazilian walnut seat, and custom glass doors. We added a new vanity with light and mirror and a new commode with cabinet above. We installed a wider door to access the bathroom and installed blocking in the walls for future grab bars. As you can see the finished product is luxurious and well appointed and the accessibility features are available without being obtrusive.

We added 16' to the entire back of this home which encompassed a bedroom, bathroom, and sunroom. This project was built for a veteran with ALS. The entire project, including an outdoor deck with gazebo is accessible from a wheelchair. A ceiling lift covers the bedroom and bath.

We completely remade the kitchen and bathroom for a couple wanting to age in place. The kitchen features varying counter heights, accessible appliances, pull down and pull out shelving, task lighting, a sun tunnel skylight, wider doorways, and plenty of room to maneuver. The bathroom was created out of two small back to back bathrooms. We removed the wall between the existing bathrooms to create one large spacious luxurious bathroom featuring a custom curbless shower with built in seat, dual vanities with removable fronts for access, a counter height medicine cabinet, an accessible linen closet with built in laundry chute, a 3' wide pocket door leading to the hallway, a 3' wide swinging door leading to the bedroom, and grab bars throughout for safety.

We removed a dilapidated deck on the back of this lake house and replaced it with two sunrooms with a deck in between. The sunrooms and deck have a commanding view of Smith Mountain Lake. The patio under the deck has under deck waterproofing so the entire space under the addition is protected from the weather.
