Edson Lins and Helen Lins (Clonts) is the owners of Profixe and they have scammed Utah residents by starting projects and not completing it. There are numerous of families who have hired him and he ripped off. All of us families have made police reports, gone to arbitration, in the process of court hearings and yet his license still says active on DOPL. STAY AWAY FROM PROFIXE!

I would rate these guys at zero but that is not an option on the rating scheme. We had the same problem as Sarah R. My wife was on them all the time so there was constant communications from our end. When they kept telling us the inspection date was set and no-one showed on the scheduled day my wife contacted the city to verify the inspection date, It was then that we were informed that neither a plan nor application was ever received and per the city statutes we were told that we did not have authorization to build. She then contacted DOPL who informed us they (Profixe) were not authorized to subcontract out and was using an apprentice that was illegally working without supervision from a certified electrician. We decided to halt all work with them and hire professionals to inspect the work. In short the framing, electrical and plumbing all had to be redone. We went to arbitration and was awarded the full amount we asked for and are currently waiting for the judge to sign the enforcement orders.

They rarely show up, they don't communicate. They will show up for a few days so you think there gonna come, ask for a check then you don't see them for weeks. Waited a month for them to get the permit to get inspected, only he a rd from them once. They still owe me $8000 of work or refund.
