We hired this company to finish a basement which ended up being a BIG mistake. The contract states that it would be finished in 8 weeks. After 9 months the project was still not finished so we fired WGC. The office manager, Janet, provided incorrect information on multiple occurrences. She also chose not to respond to phone calls when we were requesting information. The owner of the company, Julian Alexander, makes promises and never keeps them. We've heard sooo many excuses that contradict themselves that we never knew when we were being told the truth. We provided unrestricted access to the house, however there were weeks that went by without anybody showing up to work on it at all. The work that was completed is okay, but there were mistakes made that we had to point out and ask multiple times to be fixed. We agreed to have the ceilings insulated after the initial bid. Julian said it would cost $700, but when we received the invoice we were charged $1000. Julian tried to justify the additional charge by saying that he had not bought insulation recently and that he used more labor than anticipated to install it. The project dragged out so long that Julian could not remember what type of finishes were agreed upon from the very beginning. We had to show proof in the form of emails to get the correct vanity and granite countertops. Julian told us multiple times that he is a licensed electrician. Check DOPL's website. He's not licensed as an electrician. I would NEVER recommend this company to anybody.

WGC was referred to me by a close friend. She was really pleased with the work they did for her, so I had WCG add a 1500 sq ft addition onto the back of my house. WOW! He suggested bigger windows than I had envisioned to let in more light, and I am so happy I did. It is not the favorite room in the house in which to entertain.
