With 32 years of electrical trade experience, Vigilant provides expert electrical design, construction, maintenance and problem-solving solutions throughout Bexar County and the surrounding communities. Vigilant is a veteran-owned small business. The owner, Joe Gonzales, earned his electrical tradesman training and knowledge after enlisting in the U.S Navy in 1982. In February 1983, he completed basic electrician training in Gulfport, Mississippi and earned the Naval Construction Forces (Sea Bees) enlisted rating designation of Construction Electrician Apprentice. Joe's first assignment was to the Public Works Department at Roosevelt Roads Naval Station, Puerto Rico. In addition to Joe's extensive electrical tradesman experience, he also earned an associate of science degree in Industrial Electronics Technology and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.
