I reached out to Michael at CanTex Developers after finding him via a Google search and seeing his positive reviews. I had already reached out to a few contractors (concrete and deck) and they either said they couldn’t do the work or wouldn’t recommend it (concrete guys) or essentially said my project wasn’t “big” enough for them (a deck guy). But Michael got right back to me, and instead of trying to determine if he could do the work via phone (text/call), he came out to my house twice (initially the same day I reached out). Michael had the vision, and balls, to take on this project of tearing out crooked front steps and replacing them with a front deck that wrapped around the tree, along with new steps. Throughout the process, he kept me up-to-date, and you could tell that he took pride in his workmanship. He finished the job quickly and the quality of his work was exceptional. He went above and beyond. He was always polite and I could tell that he was working hard for his wife and baby. I will definitely use him for future projects that I might have.
