Alamo Property Maintenance

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I recently bought a new house and one of the agreements of purchase was for the seller to pay for the installation of an automatic garage door opener. Since they are selling and don’t care of the quality of work being done, they hire Alamo Property Maintenance. The job started off well. The technicians were very nice and eager to complete the job. They worked all morning installing the equipment and ran into a snag programming the opener. Instead of completing the last 10 minutes of work, they insisted on leaving to complete another job. They ensured us that they’d be back the next day to finish what they started. The “next day” turns into a week and finally after numerous attempts, I gain contact with the company. We schedule an appointment for Sunday between 10-12. 4pm rolls around and I text the technician, and haven’t heard from him since. After all of this I lose my patience and begin to complete the instillation on my own. I find out that there is missing parts that weren’t installed, to include the emergency stop bolt that prevents the opener from running into the main unit and destroying everything. The opener also had a fried logic board/brains of the unit. I can’t blame the damaged logic board solely on Alamo Propery Maintenance, but I’m just telling the entire story. I had to reach out to the manufacturer and get everything replaced. I will now contact BBB and let them know of my experience.
