Ranch upgrade | May 2019 | Ranch owner wanted to upgrade his tool and equipment shed with 5 open bays and close them with a sectional door with openers. | $7k | Valley Center, CA
Historic Upgrade | May 2019 | Beautiful remodeled older home that still had the original swing out doors. They did not seal very well at all and the owner wanted a place to park her car at night. She also wanted automatic door to open so she did not have to manually get out and open door. Problem was a cement corbel inside the garage that was in the way of the tracks for an 8' high door. So what we did was frame down the header, replace the beat up jamb legs to fit a 7' high door with zero headroom tracks so the tracks would go under the cement corbel. Stucco the filled in header to match and installed a coach house style door with decorative hardware to make them look like swing out doors. Came out very nice | $3k | San Diego, CA
Apartment upgrade | Mar 2019 | Replace the four flip up doors with sectionals and install new openers in each. Due to the headroom and a large drain pipe going across the two middle doors, i used Marantec series 260 for reasons of quiet operation, belt and trolly is enclosed in a C-Channel rail which works great in low headroom areas . | $4k | San Diego, CA
woodlike upgrade | Jun 2019 | Replace existing wood flip up door with a sectional woodlike door with new liftmaster belt drive opener. I actually made a mistake on this project and did not order the windows. We installed the door without windows and i ordered and paid for the window section as a company expense. I make mistakes every once in a great while but when i do I live up to them and make it right without any extra expense from the customer no matter what. | $3k | San Diego, CA
Lilac Fire | May 2019 | 17' 9" x 8' steel back carriage house door with windows and decorative hardware powered by a Liftmaster 8500W side mount direct drive motor. House was a complete loss in the lilac fire. | $3k | Bonsall, CA |
