Chris Bidle Painting has been providing excellent service in nearly all aspects of painting and restoration since 1989. Our long list of satisfied customers is predominantly comprised of individual homeowners, but we also specialize in commercial projects for property management companies, schools, and offices. Additionally, we have been contracted for mural work. We emphasize proper step-by-step preparation: a necessity for a flawless finish. We are punctual, meticulous, work fast, and keep things clean throughout the project. We use mainly Benjamin Moore paint, and offer seasonal discounts for interior work. Chris Bidle Painting serves the entire Bay Area, including San Francisco, Marin, the Peninsula, and the East Bay. Ohio native Chris Bidle (CA lic#649779) moved to San Francisco in 1980 to attend San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI). He spent summers in high school and college as an independent contractor, painting homes of neighbors, family, and friends in his hometown of Oberlin. While studying at SFAI, Chris worked painting houses part-time. Once he graduated, he started working full-time for a variety of contractors, and in 1989 he started contracting his own jobs. Chris has worked as a scenic artist in the film industry (Copycat and others). His work is featured on the cover of the recent book by Susan Hershman House Colors: Exterior Color by Style of Architecture (pub. Gibbs Smith) on the subject of choosing color combinations. The work is also featured inside on a two-page spread. His professional services include color consultation, and all work is guaranteed.
