We hired this company to paint our house and had an absolutely terrible experience. After three days they sought to raise the price by 75% without providing any justification (numbers, labor hours). At the same time, the owner attempted to violate our contract in two other ways: 1. He demanded payment for supplies despite the fact that they were included 2. He asked for paint costs upfront (they were to be due at end) Over the next two days, he scaled back his crew such that they got very little done. On the fifth day they abandoned the job, and in the process left our home in a terrible state. Including our master bath where they had proceeded to scrape off 85% of the existing paint, damaging the drywall in the process. This happened during the holidays and I had already moved my partner out. What they did was incredibly unethical and flat-out dishonest. In addition to having to pay to repaint the house with another painter, we had to spend another $4000 to repair the drywall damage. Stay away from this company at all costs.
