This 2700 sq. foot basement was built on a beautiful street in Palo Alto, CA. The homeowners demolished the previous structure and wanted to build their dream home. Building a new home requires coordination and communication so BDCe worked closely with the plumbers, electricians and other contractors to complete the project. We encountered a lack of available access to the project site and the proximity of the property to the neighbors houses required shoring piers to be installed. This created limited workspace to build the retaining walls, waterproof and back filling of the basement. BDCe was able to work around all the issues to complete the basement on schedule

Palo Alto, CA

This 4500 sq. foot modern style house located in Los Altos Hills was a new experience for BDCe. It was our first double basement construction. The homeowners wanted a squash court below their basement, which required building multiple levels below grade. The challenge we encountered was having to construct 25-foot high walls to supports both basements. A wall of that magnitude below grade has the responsibility to sustain the homes structure as well as the earth around it. Once the lower basement was in place the remainder of the concrete work could be completed.

Los Altos Hills, CA

This 1800 sq. foot basement in Los Altos, CA was a new home construction. BDCe was responsible for all the concrete work, from below grade basement work to the at grade flat work. This type of project is typical for BDCe Concrete. Once the concrete basement was poured and back filled, we transitioned the job over to the framers.
